It’s that time of year again! The time of year that is highly anticipated by the E-Power Marketing team; SMX Advanced in Seattle. SMX Advanced is the only Search Marketing conference intended specifically for experienced internet marketers and I am thrilled to be attending the conference this year on June 11 and 12. Numerous industry experts from around the world will be presenting their advanced knowledge to attendees via presentations, Q&A sessions and networking opportunities.
The presenters at SMX Advanced discuss various areas of Search Engine Marketing, ranging from Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click Advertising to Local Search Marketing and Social Media Marketing. With many of the industry’s big names attending the conference, including Google’s Matt Cutts, Bing’s Duane Forrester, Bruce Clay and Danny Sullivan, it’s hard to choose, but here are a few of the presentations I’m most looking forward to:
- The Periodic Table of SEO Ranking Factors: 2014 Edition: This presentation examines a number of search ranking factors that influence search results. The panelists will analyze what’s working and what’s not, as well as the key elements that deliver SEO success.
- 25 Social Media Ideas for the Advanced Search Marketer: This session covers ideas and techniques to help marketers implement and optimize the “sweet spot” where search and Social intersect.
- You&A With Matt Cutts: In this unique presentation, the audience directly asks Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s web spam team, their questions. Cutts has been dealing with Google’s webmaster issues since 2000 and is a very well-known name in the Search Engine Marketing world.
- Creating Blockbuster Content: Content is King is still true, so this presentation covers how to create a comprehensive content creation strategy. Speakers will provide insight on how to develop, repurpose and maximize the value from content and how to measure its success.
I’m really looking forward to attending SMX Advanced because there’s no better way to keep up with the ever-changing world of Search Engine Marketing than by learning from the best of the best! Follow along with the conference on through the E-Power accounts and directly from the conferences hosts on Twitter at @smx & #SMX and check back for a follow-up post after I return from the conference.
