Justin is E-Power Marketing’s Manager of Search Engine Marketing. He attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and joined E-Power Marketing in 2004 when he saw an open internship position. Immediately, Justin applied because he was interested in online marketing and saw a future in the industry, the paid aspect of the internship was a selling point for him as well!
Justin heads up the Paid Search Marketing activities at E-Power, focusing on Pay Per Click campaigns, optimization and program implementation to boost client return on investment. Justin is also the project manager for one of E-Power’s most recognized clients, 5-hour ENERGY®. Daily tasks for Justin with 5-hour ENERGY® range from Social Media Marketing to generating ideas for offline initiatives.
The aspect Justin loves most about his job is that he never does the same thing every day. A combination of different tasks and a diverse group of clients allows Justin’s workload to change daily. Even the tools he uses in the paid search marketing field are always evolving, which opens the door to new opportunities for him to further a client’s success. For Justin, having a strong team around allows him to better serve our clients, which is why he loves the team aspect of E-Power Marketing. From the relaxed, fun office environment to the unique clients he works with on a daily basis, Justin’s job is never dull!
Outside of work, Justin seeks new opportunities and adventure. “Buy the ticket, take the ride,” is his favorite quote by Hunter S. Thompson, and it pretty much sums up how he lives his life. Justin said he will try anything once, but his favorite activities include anything adrenaline-filled. He has sky dived, been bungee jumping and went parasailing in Cancun. He survived the Tough Mudder and has competed in countless triathlons, duathlons and half marathons. From backpacking and cycling to running and being outdoors, Justin may just be the most adventurous member of the E-Power team! When asked what he can’t leave the house without, Justin answered a few Clif bars and a 5-hour ENERGY®…a fan of Les Stroud, he’s always prepared!
