A lot has changed since the last time we checked in on changes in the world of Pinterest! The Social Media Marketing team at E-Power is here to stay on top of industry updates like these so you don’t have to.
Pinterest’s most recent addition is private messaging. Pinterest stated that the thought behind this new feature was that every day people send more than two million Pins, so why not make it easier to have a conversation about those Pins? This new messenger allows users to send Pins and text to one or more people, and with a simple click they are able to reply with a message or send their own Pin back. This helps users further plan their projects and trips, exchange ideas and share their favorite content.
Messaging isn’t Pinterest’s only new feature! Take a look at some of the features that have been added to the Social platform since our last Pinterest update:
–Place Pins – Add specific location data to your Pins and boards
–Smarter Recipe Search – Turn your Pinterest search into a recipes-only search
–Explore interests – A collection of Pins based on content you might like
–GIF Support – All types of animated GIFs now play on Pinterest
–More Secret Boards – Users can now have an unlimited number of secret boards instead of just three
–Follow What Looks Interesting – Each category has specific interests to explore
