The world of Online Advertising is ever growing and evolving. This morning, Google hosted their annual AdWords livestream to discuss the latest developments in Google AdWords, including new products rolling out, updates to current products, and more effective measurement tools.
Today’s livestream focused on the increasing importance of mobile and the latest buzz word, “micro-moments“. A micro-moment is defined as a mobile moment that requires only a glance to identify and deliver quick information that you can either consume, or act on immediately. Micro-moments occur when consumers turn to Google for I want-to-know, I want-to-go, I want-to-do, and I want-to-buy moments, and Google is focused on helping businesses fulfill the wants of their customers in these moments.
Over the course of the next few weeks E-Power’s Online Advertising team will be presenting the 2015 Step Inside AdWords Blog Series, a series of posts breaking down all of the information from the livestream.
- First up, we’ll cover all of the new and improved ad formats that will roll out in the coming months. The latest formats are designed to enhance the search experience for customers, specifically on mobile devices.
