Account Manager

We’re looking for an Account Manager who leads with clarity, thinks ahead, and owns outcomes.

This is a strategic operator role. Someone who understands how modern marketing works across channels, can connect the dots between strategy and performance, and keeps everything moving in the right direction.

You’ll lead client relationships, guide strategy execution, and ensure programs deliver real business results. You stay close to the work, the data, and the performance, and you step in when something needs attention.

This role is fully remote, with optional access to our riverfront office in Oshkosh, WI. Team members meet in person once a month for collaboration, so applicants must live within 200 miles of Oshkosh.

Who We're Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • 3–6+ years of experience in digital marketing, account management, or a similar role
  • Experience managing multiple clients in an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of how marketing channels work together to drive results
  • Ability to interpret performance data and translate it into clear direction
  • Experience leading client communication and strategy discussions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

You must live within 200 miles of Oshkosh, WI, and be able to travel to the Oshkosh office at least once each month.

Core Responsibilities

Strategy & Performance
  • Ensure all work aligns to business goals and the defined 3-month strategy
  • Connect performance across channels, identifying what is driving results and where adjustments are needed
  • Use data and insights to guide conversations, challenge assumptions, and improve strategy
  • Help clients understand performance in a clear, outcome-focused way
  • Keep programs focused on impact, not just activity
  • Own the day-to-day performance and direction of assigned accounts
  • Lead client communication, meetings, and ongoing alignment
  • Ensure work is progressing in line with strategy, timelines, and expectations
  • Monitor performance and initiative progress, stepping in when something is off track
  • Take responsibility for outcomes, not just deliverables
  • Stay aware of how marketing is evolving across channels, platforms, and technologies
  • Identify opportunities to improve how programs are structured, executed, and measured
  • Leverage data, tools, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Challenge existing approaches when there’s a better way to drive results
  • Bring forward ideas that improve client performance and agency approach
  • Act as the connector between strategy, execution, and performance across all channels
  • Lead internal planning and ensure teams are aligned on priorities, sequencing, and expectations
  • Provide clear context and direction so teams can execute strong work
  • Guide client conversations with confidence, helping them make better decisions
  • Influence both clients and internal teams toward stronger outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, expand scope, and increase impact
  • Surface ideas in real time, not just during planning cycles
  • Partner with leadership when opportunities require strategic shifts or expansion

Compensation & Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary ($70,000–$100,000, depending on experience), plus a generous profit-sharing program with monthly rewards, quarterly bonuses, and an end-of-year bonus when agency goals are met. Our benefits package includes:
